A plastic bottle and collection and recycling service is provided to 10 local authorities in Northern Ireland border counties via a bottle bank system. A full promotional package, in conjunction with the local authorities and Coca Cola was used to raise the profile of plastics recycling.

At present there are 55 banks on 43 sites and there are plans for expansion across the Province.

The company are delighted to have found a good polymer source which is currently being landfilled. They also see this project as opening new economic opportunities, in parallel with increasing legislative pressure on businesses to make more sustainable use of their resources.
