Textile Waste

Activity – Catwalk Display

You will need

• Old materials – clothes, curtains, bedcovers, hats etc
• String, tape, scissors
• Music to model along to!

What to Do

• In groups of 4 or 5 design and make outfits for a catwalk display out of the collected textiles
• You may use other waste items to add to the designs
• Host the fashion show
• After the show each group could explain how they made their outfits and what they used
