Activity – Pebble Shaker
You will need
What to Do
- Collect pebbles small enough to fit through the hole in the
top of the can
- Quarter fill the can with pebbles and securely seal the hole with tape
- Experiment with different sizes of pebbles to see if you can produce different
sounds
- Experiment with sand to make a sound like the sea on a windy day

may wish to decorate you shaker
